Trailering your boat to a new lake or other waterway is a great way to expand your boating area. It is very difficult to find good food, close to the freeway that offers decent boat trailer parking. El Sarape at 5409 Capitol in Tumwater Washington offers all of the above for boaters.

El Sarape has some wonderful Mexican food backed with excellent service at reasonable prices. The special of the day has always been great for us. Their chicken mole is some of the best I’ve eaten and reminds me of the chicken mole in the open air restaurant on the beach in Cozumel. I ate there after doing two drift dives, their boat parking was dropping the hook and swimming ashore!

El Sarape in Tumwater is a great little place to stop for lunch or dinner.

If you are traveling I-5 take the Tropser Rd exit turn right if you were heading north and left if heading south. Get into the right lane and turn right at Capitol then turn right at West Lee and turn into the second driveway on the right. You should be able to park and still be able to swing around to return to the freeway.
